Shaco and Leona will be getting a VFX update in patch 12.7

Shaco and Leona have received VFX updates, which are presently available on the PBE and will be accessible on the live servers with patch 12.7

While the new champions and skins all have high detail and seamless transitions in VFX/SFX and animations, certain older champions are getting some VFX adjustments to keep up. So, Shaco and Leona are both getting a VFX update. Riot Sirhaian, a Senior Visual Effects Artist, recently posted about these changes on Reddit.

Shaco VFX update

Shaco’s VFX improvements will enhance the appearance of his abilities and auto-attacks. All of Shaco’s abilities and passives have had VFX updates. Also, the update will distinguish better between ‘backstab,’ front attacks, and crits will be much easier.

Leona VFX update

Compared to Shaco, Leona’s VFX modifications will be less significant. The updates mostly focus on tidying up some of the older VFX. The major improvement appears to be in the E ability, which is now much cleaner. It will now be easy to grasp her E’s range.
