Sivir is now in the worst state ever.
Every League champion no matter how less common or out meta they are, all has a certain number of gamers who are willing to use them in specific roles. However, the case of Sivir is different when she is so estranged by most League players that she can no longer keep her place. One player has found out that she is not even considered as an ADC – even though it is where she was originally designed for.
In a matter of fact, Sivir doesn’t fit Essence Reaver’s new passive at all since her Q – Boomerang Blade and E – Spell Shield cost much energy. Having to use those skills often but only recovering mana by 1 hit after casting skill is no different from Sivir’s extreme.
This champion needs the old Essence Reaver’s mana regen ability for each time she attacks to ensure the mana and deal damage effectively. This item’s new effect restores less mana that makes her frequently “starved for energy.” As result, her ability to cast and deal damage is minimized greatly.
In addition, Sivir is also a crit ADC, but the changes to the marksmen item system have made her even weaker. If the other champs can find a new place in the new meta by building lethality or AP items, except for her, and this champion just keeps stuck with “useless” items.
The bottom line, with the 2021 preseason system updates, most critical marksmen champions have been nerfed. In terms of item system, Essence Reaver’s rework is indirectly hit Sivir most and made her being completely abandoned. It is time for Riot to have a proper buff or remake this champion before she is completely forgotten from League of Legends.
