Bang and Huni had officially reunited in the roster of Evil Geniuses in LCS after almost 3 years of breakup with SKT T1.
After Duke left, SKT T1 started recruiting one of many best top laners in LCK at that time, and Huni was the name to be chosen to fill up the gap. Came to SKT T1 at the end of 2016 and left in 2017, only competed in 2 seasons in the SKT T1 roster but Huni had brought lot of good impressions in fans’ heart.
SKT T1‘ formation at that time already had a good framework with Faker in midlane, Blank or Peanut for jungle, Bang and Wolf is the botlane duo. Though this team was not comparable with the previous roster in term of strength, they still dominated 2 seasons of LCK 2017. Since Huni leaving, SKT T1 started to fall into crisis because they didn’t have a talented top laner.
In late 2018, SKT T1 decided to replace the whole roster, only kept Faker. Other members soon found another team to join, include Bang switching to compete in LCS under the name of 100 Thieves
Lately there is a good news for fans when Bang and Huni reunite in the roster of Evil Geniuses after 3 years of separation. More praiseworthy is this reunion helps Evil Geniuses to win against Cloud9 who has strong perfomance lately in LCS.
Evil Geniuses is a team has long history in LCS but they hadn’t achieved much in this region. Just until Bang joined the roster, Evil have performed better and holding a high chance in this season.
Think this is not enough, Evil Geniuses added top laner Huni and mid laner Goldenglue this July. The match with C9 was the first time both play for Evil Geniuses and this gave a great result.
This union of Band and Huni is welcomed by all the fans, especially old SKT T1 old fans. At the same time opens a new opportunity to compete championship for Evil Geniuses or atleast a ticket to Worlds this year.
