Riot’s official Korean account accidentally shared a shot of Star Guardian Rell in their patch 12.10 video
The Star Guardian skin line debuted in 2016, and it quickly became one of the most popular skin lines among players’ collections, particularly among female players.
The popular skin line reappeared in 2017 with one of the most major events in League of Legends history, complete with new skins and a special game mode. Furthermore, the skin line has had three big releases so far, and it appears that it is set for the fourth.
Some leaks claim that Star Guardian 2022 will be the greatest event of the year, with 10 champions appearing with the skin line. Big Bad Bear previously revealed that Ekko would receive a Star Guardian skin as well as a Prestige Edition. Kai’sa, Caitlyn, and Akali were also rumored to be getting the skins.
However, Riot’s official account has now unintentionally posted a patch 12.10 video including Star Guardian Rell, as well as the two current skins Arcade Corki and Odyssey Sona.
Further than the brief clip, no other information has been provided. However, with leaks already circulating, it’s reasonable to assume that the skin will be added to the game shortly.
It’s difficult to predict when the Star Guardian Event will begin. Patch 12.11 will include the new Pool Party skins as well as Bel’Veth and Battle Boss Bel’Veth. With that being said, the Event should be available alongside the leaked skins in Patch 12.12 or 12.13.
