TCL matches delayed indefinitely after 7.8 earthquake disaster hits Turkey

Turkish League of Legends‘ regional league TCL has been suspended until further notice after series of deadly earthquakes rock Turkey and Syria

The 2-day consecutive tremors in southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria are the deadliest quakes since 1999

The death toll in both countries has surpassed 3600 according to Al Jazeera and will continue rising as injuries number in tens of thousands and extreme weather conditions shorten the time frame rescuers have to save others trapped under debris. Temperature has fallen below freezing in many areas endangering victims and hampering rescue efforts.

Infrastructure is badly damaged, with more than 5500 buildings collapsing, hospitals and water tanks badly damaged. Syria has already been ravaged by the 11-year ongoing civil war leaving the region in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
