Jinx has so much ups and downs this season – from a hyper carry to an extremely weak unit…
To be honest, Brawler – Blaster is the most powerful comp in Teamfight Tactics before the mid-set updates. Not only about the power of their Origins and Classes, but also their skills create an absolutely nice combo. Your Blitzcrank drags an enemy unit back to him in order to finish it off immediately as well as activate Jinx’s skill, Cho’gath and Miss Fortune’s skills deal AOE damage and Jinx’s mission is just clearing the rest of your enemy. All in all, Brawler – Blaster is actually a perfect comp.
However, since the outset of Mid Set 3 with the disappearance of Cho’gath and Miss Fortune, Brawler – Blaster, specifically Jinx, has become too weaker than other new comps. It seems that this comp’s power has decreased by 50% due to the absence of strong units and Riot Mortdog – Lead Designer of Teamfight Tactics, also confirmed that stuff.
Basically, Jinx before and after mid-set updates are actually the same, is still a powerful killing machine in Teamfight Tactics. What made Jinx and comps whose carry is her much weaker is the deletion of essential units like Cho’gath or Miss Fortune. In patch 10.17, Brawlers will probably be buffed or even Rebels so as to strengthen comps using Jinx as their carry.
