The release of TFT patch 12.19 is anticipated for Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Depending on where they are, servers typically shut down at around 5 a.m. local time and reopen at 8 a.m.
The patch is released first in Oceania, with announcements often made as the update begins in Australia. Within the following 24 hours, the global rollout starts.

Scalescorn rework
Due to the abundance of Dragons in TFT Set 7.5, Scalescorn has struggled quite a bit. When there were only seven of them, it was simple to create a composition around Olaf. There are now 12 and players are encouraged to splash them in all competitions save from Scalescorn.
Riot is reworking the trait for TFT patch 12.19 because they recognize the design flaw.
Developer Stephen ‘Mortdog’ Mortimer explained, “Scalescorn is a trait that didn’t operate if you had a Dragon in, which kind of limited how you could play it. “A truce has been reached, and they can now collaborate! Now that you know this, you may even Scalescorn emblem a dragon!
To welcome Dragons into the fold, the vertical has been somewhat nerfed; it now deals less damage at higher breakpoints. However, there may still be some creativity since you have much more freedom today to create your boards around the trait.
Jayce and Dragon trait major update
Crowd control and dragons are two major issues that Riot is addressing as TFT Set 7.5 develops.
When you can flexibly create comps around it, like Guild Ragewing Xayah, and units like Jayce have so much power built into their kit with stuns, it’s oppressive. The four-cost Guild Shapeshifter is being singled out first with a modest tweak to eliminate his crowd control while raising his toughness to at least somewhat reduce all of the stuns.
Regarding the second point, Mortdog said it has been a bit “bait” to pursue the Dragon vertical beyond three units or so. Riot is changing this by enticing players with greater pursuit values for the Dragon trait, such as a new Dragon 6 that “causes your Dragons to ascend” and “become much more powerful.” If you succeed, take advantage of the incentives.
