The LCK organizing committee issued a quarantine request to all those present at LoL Park today 23/2 after MC Kim Min-ah was found to have a health problem.
According to NAVER, on afternoon, at LoL Park, there were two matches in the third week of the LCK Spring Split in 2020: it was a confrontation between Afreeca Freecs vs KT Rolster and the match of SANDBOX Gaming vs DAMWON Gaming.
An incident occurred after the first game of the SB vs DWG match ended, female MC Kim Min-ah – The person in charge of post-match interviews and analysis support of the LCK showed signs of high fever, After taking a temperature, she was confirmed to have a fever above 37.5 degrees Celsius, and was immediately taken to the hospital for a checkup.
Kim Min-ah’s bad health performance caused the LCK Organizing Committee to issue an emergency notice, canceling the entire schedule of press conference and interview after the match. In addition, everyone present at the LoL Park Gymnasium is also required to isolate themselves at home, until accurate results on Kim Min-ah’s health status are available.
Some sources from the Korean community said that Kim Min-ah had initially tested negative for the virus, but this is all unverified information, and the current official source of the LCK still insist that female MC are waiting for test results.
