Prepare to join the mayhem of Nexus Blitz.

On May 27, the PROJECT universe will return to League of Legends. Together with some new PROJECT skins, the event, called PROJECT: Bastion, will bring back the favorite game mode Nexus Blitz for a short period.

This year’s PROJECT event involves prior PROJECT skin lines working together to battle a new challenge unleashed by the PROGRAM virus. The event will run from May 27 to June 28 through Patches 11.11, 11.12, and 11.13, with an event pass available for purchase in the client store.

As part of League’s revolving game mode plan, PROJECT: Bastion will bring back Nexus Blitz. Nexus Blitz will be opened to League players for the third time after featured in 2018 and 2020. The game mode employs a modified version of Summoner’s Rift, in which jungle camps are scattered throughout the map and each team will field two junglers to clear them.

The mode also includes randomly generated “events” that occur every three minutes. The Bardle Royale is one of these activities, which transforms the map into a battle-royale-style battle to the death when a circle of fire closes in around a certain point. Winning these contests awards the winning team one of ten random prizes, all of which have funny and game-changing consequences that will aid players in their quest for success.

The mode will be available from May 27, a day after the release of Patch 11.11, to June 28.
