Renowned League of Legends player Thebausffs recently shared his thoughts on subscribers-only mode on his Twitch chat
Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg is a famous League of Legends content creator and streamer known for playing Sion in unusual ways, particularly inting Sion. He has risen to the top of the ranked ladder because to his inventive playstyle.
During a recent livestream on July 11, Thebausffs read out a comment he received from a viewer while waiting in the pre-game lobby, which wrote:
“And the only sub mode would be such a great option for you. You should consider it.”
The streamer scoffed and stated that he despised using the subscribers-only option, claiming that the majority of his viewers do not subscribe to Twitch content creators.
“I don’t like putting it in sub mode because I have a lot of nice viewers that don’t sub”
“If you can’t afford a sub, then don’t sub. Only idiots sub to a streamer. You have to be really, really stupid to sub to a streamer. So yeah, putting it in the sub mode, I think, that’s a stupid thing to do.”
After the controversial statement, fans were overjoyed to witness their favorite streamer being so humble. Other followers praised his move, noting that it was unusual to see a streamer choose their audience before their own desires.
Thebausffs began live streaming on Twitch in 2018, and his audience skyrocketed earlier this year. He presently has 765k followers and has played and streamed League of Legends for 4,690 hours in total.
