There will be a live concert from Riot Music

It may be time to use the vast collection of songs that the Riot Games music department has amassed over the previous 13 years during live events.

It feels like there is a very big opportunity to bring our music to life for players in ways that aren’t necessarily tied to esports events in the future

Bob DeBelina, artist and creative partnerships manager at Riot Games Music

Then, he provided a short list of some recent artistic works Riot had completed that would qualify for a live performance, including DJ Sona, Pentakill, Seraphine, and, of course, K/DA.

The champion themes for League of Legends marked the beginning of Riot’s music team’s annual growth. The first music video associated with a specific champion, Jinx, was produced by Riot in 2013 and enjoyed enormous success both inside and outside of the game. Only one year later, Riot produced the inaugural World Championship opening ceremony, working with Imagine Dragons and including a live rendition of the first Worlds anthem, which is still adored by League fans today. The musical compositions keep changing over time.

Free music albums that can be downloaded, virtual bands, anthems for esports competitions, soundtracks for cartoon television shows, and much more are available. Whether a person prefers pop, classical, or hard rock music, Riot Music’s catalog can accommodate their preferences. And maybe, League fans throughout the world will be able to witness them all live one day.

League has seen constant change since its 2009 debut. Alongside the game, the music team hopes to maintain this growth, according to DeBelina. “Our current music library spans about ten years. We’re constantly thinking of fresh ways to celebrate and elevate the players’ favorite songs from the previous ten years while simultaneously continuing to evolve and create new music.

While Riot has not announced any news regarding a possible live concert featuring its music, many League fans would likely be thrilled to hear songs that, for more than a decade, they’ve only been able to hear from their homes.
