TheShy Insane Outplay with Malphite makes even the easiest champion seems high-skill prodigy

The LPL’s Summer Split has already begun with some wild matches. JD Gaming, the MSI champion, had returned to China following their triumph and were preparing to play against Weibo Gaming, a squad captained by none other than Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok.

While JDG did not win the match, with Weibo winning easily 2-0, it was far from dull, owing to top lane veteran TheShy pulling off one of the most mechanical plays with such a simple champion.

TheShy insane Malphite outplay

On June 1, 2023, TheShy picked up one of the strongest top lane champions in the game right now – Malphite – in the first game between Weibo Gaming and JDG.

We all know Malphite isn’t the most mobile or skillful champion, but seeing this play from TheShy will make you think differently.

In the game, TheShy strolled into JDG’s jungle, directly in front of the opposition team. He then drew them in and then right before JDG Kanavi tried to snare him with Maokai, TheShy uses his ultimate to flee, at the same time carrying Kanavi into the arms of the rest of Weibo for an easy kill.

After Kanavi is killed, 369 attempts to save the battle by using K’Sante’s ult to get into the Weibo backline, but he is also killed. After killing K’Sante, TheShy utilised Malphite’s TP to actually TP a few metres behind enemy lines, flashing over a wall to approach and kill Ruler as well.

All of this happened in a matter of seconds. To be honest, this is Malphite gaming like no other, and only players like TheShy can pull it off.

He’s the best.”

That’s the most mobile Malphite you’ve ever seen in your life. ”

Caedrel was co-streaming the game, and he pretty much summed it up best.
