Tryndamere is spinning his way to the top of the League of Legends leaderboard after Riot gave the champion massive attack range improvements in Patch 13.17.
League of Legends Patch 13.17 was just released recently, and the game’s meta is already flipping on its head. Tryndamere, in particular, is having a lot of success after getting some of the finest buffs he’s ever had.
Tryndamere after League of Legends patch 13.17 buffs
Tryndamere was transformed into an open weapon in Patch 13.17, with his attack range increasing from 125 to 175. When glancing at the figures, this may not appear to be a significant buff, but an increase in attack range of 50 allows him to stick closer to his targets while brutally attacking them. As a result, his win rate is rising.
Riot reduced his attack damage from 72 to 68 in order to avoid becoming overly powerful as a result of this modification. However, this was insufficient to prevent him from spiraling.
According to League statistic site U.gg, his 54% win rate in the mid lane right now is the greatest among all champions in the position across all tiers. While his top lane win rate isn’t as great (51%), it still ranks first among many meta champions.
Although these modifications are quite dramatic in their current condition, we anticipate that Tryndamere’s win rate will gradually decline from its current high level. Any champion is unlikely to sustain a win rate in the upper 50s, especially throughout all ranks.
Because Patch 13.17 is still in its early stages, this might just be the result of players learning how to battle the new Tryndamere. If the champion continues to destroy others, Riot may need to reverse the modification or weaken him in a different way to keep him in balance.
