Tryndamere Is Tremendously Requested To Receive A Rework

Besides the “luck” factor, the overly simple skill set is also why the League of Legends community asked Riot to rework Tryndamere.

In case you do not know, the two Champions, Ryze and Tryndamere, are named after the nicknames of Riot Games co-founders Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill. However, the development process of these two generals is opposite, especially in the matter of rework. If Ryze has been reworked 6 times, Tryndamere has not undergone any rework. Basically, his current skill set is not much different from when this champion was released, 2009.

This leaves Tryndamere’s gameplay with many problems that the visual upgrades cannot solve. So players want Riot Games to have a major upgrade and edit in terms of gameplay for this champion to better suit the modern League of Legends. However, Riot Games still has no plans to rework him, and that makes the community unpleased.

According to Insertblamehere’s post, he/she had lots of good points of why Tryndamere is way too obsolete at the moment.

Indeed, when we look at his basic skill set, we realize that this champion relies entirely on critical hits. Players need a large amount of Fury to heal a lot with Q – Bloodlust. To gain Fury the fastest, he must eliminate the target or land a critical attack. To reduce the cooldown of E – Spinning Slash and increase mobility, his attacks must also be critical.

When there was not much item in the early game, Tryndamere’s laning was like a gamble. If you hit a critical hit continuously, it deals great damage, heals a lot of health, moves extremely flexible. Suppose you are too unlucky and do not launch a critical hit, which will greatly reduce his strength. Tryndamere’s totally “luck of the draw” way of laning made the community ask Riot to rework this champion.

League of Legends gamers urgently asks Riot to rework Tryndamere so that this champion is less dependent on luck.

As we all know, in the upcoming 11.12 release, the rework project Dr. Mundo will be officially released. After that, the next champion to be fully reworked will be Udyr, the character that won the rework vote. If Tryndamere does what the community wants, we’ll have to wait until at least 2022 to see it.
