Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp was taken aback when he got special medals from Riot Games to commemorate the streamer’s milestone of achieving Challenger in every role
Tyler1, a renowned League of Legends streamer, has completed his two-year journey to earn the Challenger rank in all five positions of the game’s positions on Feb 19. Riot Games honored Tyler’s achievement by giving him a unique custom-made present, which he later displayed live on stream.
Tyler unveiled five Challenger medals on February 22. Each medal represents one of Tyler1’s top-ranking roles in the game. Riot also attached banners to each of five medals, indicating the date he reached Challenger in each role.
Riot collaborated with HokuProps to create the custom-made, one-of-a-kind medals. The personalized awards also included a light-up case for the medallions, according to the Riot Games Creator Support Twitter account, as well as a congratulations message from Riot.
The streamer expressed sincere thanks to the corporation for recognizing his accomplishment.
Riot made a point of recognizing Tyler’s outstanding achievement while also indicating at his personalized present only days before its delivery. The streamer’s journey to becoming League’s symbol has been difficult and surprising. Tyler1, who was banned indefinitely a little more than five years ago, has now been handed a custom gift from Riot.
