Valorant: Beautiful Elderflame’s Variant Can Now Be Swapped Freely

Good news for Valorant players who are fascinated in those eye-catching skins.

What is Valorant?

Published by Riot Games, Valorant shares many similarities with League of Legends although it is an FPS game. Valorant agents also have 4 abilities to support them in gunfights. Moreover, the gun skins’ system attracts a lot of player attention. By releasing new games time by time, Riot will be able to add an extreme depth to every games’ lore they are currently running.

Elderflame – The End-Game Cosmetic Bundle

There are five Elderflame weapon models:

Each weapon beside Elderflame Melee will have 4 variants, which will be unlocked via playing with them. These skins’ variants will come in this order: Normal -> Blue -> Red -> Three Dark Variant.

However, not everyone can afford this skin set (this set costs 100 USD if you want to acquire every single pieces).

A Problem Riot Has To Fix

Due to the fact that players have to unlock the Elderflame Red and Blue variant before unlocking the final Three Dark variant, this process can be extremely long and fatigue. Also, when they introduce this mechanic, another problem comes up. If a player purchase and actually prefer a Red/Blue variant, he actually can’t play that skin because if he or she gets kills, it will be upgraded to another variant. However, from 1.09 onwards, this mechanism will be changed according to Riot Games.

In the recent blog post, Miles “Usury” Metzger, informed fans that: “Yes! Starting with Patch 1.09 players will be able to select any variant they want. Weapon skins will still need to be fully evolved to unlock variants, but after doing so, you’ll be able to pick whichever one is most appealing to you.”

Valorant present patch is 1.08. Patch 1.09 is expected to release in October with many adjustments for Agents, and some new skin collections. Let’s wait and find out what Riot Games is bringing to players.
