League of Legends: Volcanic Wukong is Currently on Sale for 1 RP in the PH Server

According to u/ThatOneAngryPeenoise , “As some of you might know, the Taal Volcano here in the Philippines erupted and has spread ashes throughout the southern part of Luzon (One of our major islands).”

The League of Legends Phillipino team has decided to spread awareness by putting up the image below to composed of reminders on how to be safe during these dire times and have the Volcanic Wukong skin on sale for 1 RP until 31 January.

The PH LoL Team did this not only to raise awareness about the volcano erupting but also to raise people’s awareness of how to NOT get sick of the ashfall.

This is also helpful for those who live on the island or anywhere that has volcano active.

Having free Wukong skin is also profit the PH players since Wukong is getting his Rework later this year.

A bit off-topic from League of Legends, but do you know how to protect yourself during a Volcanic Eruption?

Here’re the Key Facts for protecting yourself during a Volcanic Eruption:

I. If a lahar, pyroclastic flow, or lava flow is headed toward you

  1. You should leave the area immediately.
  2. If you can drive rather than walk, use your vehicle to evacuate. When driving keep doors and windows closed, drive across the path of danger if you can or away from the danger if you can not, and watch for unusual hazards in the road.

II.If you are indoors

  1. Close all windows, doors, and fireplace or woodstove dampers.
  2. Turn off all fans and heating and air conditioning systems.
  3. Bring pets, and livestock into closed shelters.

III. If you are outdoors

  1. Seek shelter indoors.
  2. If caught in a rockfall, roll into a ball to protect your head.
  3. If near a stream or river, be aware of rising water and possible mudflows in low-lying areas. Move up-slope as quickly as possible.
  4. Seek care for burns right away. Immediate care can be life-saving.
  5. If your eyes, nose, and throat become irritated from volcanic gases and fumes, move away from the area immediately. Your symptoms should go away when you are no longer in contact with the gases or fumes. If the symptoms continue, consult your doctor.
