Choose between Rengar or Kha’Zix to enter the mechanic in the game now…
With the 2 new champions released in Wild Rift patch 2.2, Rengar and Kha’Zix, Riot has introduced to players Nemesis Duel to test out.

As Riot had said before in their Website: “Nemesis Duel is a special mechanic that sometimes activates when two champions with long-standing grudges face each other in Wild Rift. It’s an opportunity for players to earn a substantial in-game bonus by settling the out-of-game score, so get ready for the fight of your life!”
Nemesis duel Mechanic
To trigger the mechanic, Rival from both teams have to require all these set of circumstances bellow:
- Both are or above Level 13
- Neither have dealt or taken champion damage within 5 seconds
- Both are alive
- Both are at least 16 units apart
The players will get an in-game message after they have met certain requirements, indicating that the duel has started. It will last until the game end. The Hunt Is on! Will be the first Duel in the game. If Rengar wins, Rengar automatically gains Ferocity during his ult. And if Kha’Zix wins, he will gain an additional evolution point to his abilities.
Nemesis duel can currently only be entered by Rengar and Kha’Zix, but Riot has hinted that it could appear alongside further champions in the future. A player had made a video, predicting the upcoming champions that would appear in the mechanic:
- Nasus vs Renekton
- Diana vs Leona
- Yasuo vs Yone
