Players will no longer have to conteest for the role they want in Wild Rift.
Wild Rift players must be fed up with the fact that they do not allow to play their desired position when participating in rank matches. Luckily, a Riot developer has confirmed that the role selection will be implemented in the ranked system early next year.
Currently, the mobile version reflects the same circumstance as the previous PC version. As for the PC version, prior to the launch of the Role Selection System in season5, ranked players always felt uncomfortable as they could not have the ideal roles or the champions that they want to play. They also encountered players who had an intentionally bad pick and started to troll the game.
Since then, Riot Soundwave stated that the selection would soon be conducted in the game. More information will be announced at the beginning of 2021. Therefore, Wild Rift players would likely have to wait a little bit longer for the role selection system to hit the live server.
