Wukong’s new skill set will appear in patch 10.6 – wukong rework

Wukong Rework

If you’ve been waiting wearily and wonder if changes for Wukong will be coming out because Riot Games has edited Wukong too many times but it’s still not suitable for players, it’s expected we can see a Wukong with N + 1 remakes coming up on the PBE server

What Riot Games has announced about changing the skill set for Wukong has previously failed to please the vast majority of gamers, prompting Riot Games once again to upgrade the skill set for this champion. If you’re still wondering when to debut, the answer will be in Patch Update 10.6.

I’m jumping on Wukong changes at significantly reduced scope (no VFX and sound support). Will be working with the assets we have, similar to what we did with Shaco, and picking up where

@RiotLutzburg

left off as there’s some great work there. Goals + timeline:

According to August Browning, Wukong’s remake skill-kit will be similar to Shaco, minimizing unnecessary changes as much as possible, especially in terms of visual effects and sound effects.

This remake of Wukong with the goal of helping him return to the stronger Summoner’s Rift, has more tools to outplay the enemy during the road phase, and still maintain his strengths through. throughout the game instead of getting weaker towards the end of the match.

As announced earlier, this change will focus on shifting the power of mid Wukong to the other two positions: Top and Jungle. However, this is not a removed action for this champion in the mid lane.

These changes will soon be posted to the PBE server on February 18 or 19. If during the test, everything went perfectly, nothing goes wrong, Wukong’s new skill set will be debuted in version 10.5.

If there are any issues with the editing process, these changes will be moved to Patch 10.6 to give a little more time to make minor adjustments.
