Whenever you think Yone teleportation “function” is already bad, then this new discovery is on a very different level. With his E, the latest League champion will be invincible, and can now dodge skills like Zoe sleep, Mordekaiser’s ult and even Urgot’s ultimate.
Yone’s debut rendered the League of Legends community wobble almost instantly, thanks to his incredibly cool presence and incredibly rhymes as well as high-damage gameplay. Nonetheless, he also has some drawbacks, such as being incredibly weak in the early stages, depending on the core items and being easily poked by long-range enemy.
Furthermore, Yone does not have a very specific counter-match, so winning lane with this champion depends entirely on the player skill.
Interestingly, some players have noticed that Yone can disable Mordekaiser ult, Realm of Death, with just one-second (E) Soul Unbound activation. Breaking such a strong ult makes the match-up against Mordekaiser appear to be the first direct counter since his release.
As shown in the video above, when Yone uses (E) Soul Unbound and rushes toward the enemy, Mordekaiser uses his Ult to catch him but when he activates (E) a second time, Yasuo’s brother instantly escapes from the Iron Revenant ultimate. The streamer couldn’t believe his eyes himself after he saw such a crazy weird interaction.
Many explanations suggest that Yone falls into Unstoppable states by using (E) the second time in returns so that he can avoid the Realm of Death. It also explains how this champion was able to cancel hard CCs from Zoe’s Sleepy Trouble Bubble as well as from Lillia, and even Urgot ultimate.
Whereas Riot Games hasn’t made a move to explain this, Yone players have found yet another great trick to avoid deadly skills such as Mordekaiser ult or prevent death within a narrow margin while sticking to other “cancer” champions’ sleeping feature.
