Yuumi Mini-rework 2023 revealed: Abilities, Release date, and more

Finally, the Magical Cat’s Mini-rework abilities have been revealed

Riot Games has unexpectedly released the complete Yuumi mini-rework on League’s PBE, where it is anticipated that it will stay until its rollout to live servers with Patch 13.5, despite the fact that no release date for it was provided. Her attaching mechanics has not changed, but it now seems as though attaching to one or two champions is more important than swapping champions frequently.

The League Balance Team’s Lead Designer, Riot Phroxzon, made the mini-rework public on his Twitter account. He also described the rework’s objective and how the modifications would eventually impact her performance in it.

Yuumi Mini-rework 2023

Base Stats

Feline Friendship (P)

When Yuumi’s spells or attacks affect champions, she heals herself and charges a heal for her allies. If she Attaches within the next 4s, she brings the heal to her ally. While Attached, this effect automatically occurs.

Prowling Projectile (Q)

Yuumi fires a missile that Slows the first enemy hit. If cast while Attached, Yuumi can control the missile for a short period before it becomes Empowered, greatly accelerating and Slowing enemies by an increased amount.

You and Me! (W)

Zoomies! (E)

Final Chapter (R)

For 3.5s, Yuumi fires 5 magical waves that affect enemies and allies. If cast while attached, Yuumi can steer the waves to follow her mouse.

This overhaul is largely focused on a brand-new Friendship feature. The more kills or helps Yuumi and the partner she is attached with, the higher their friendship level will rise, and eventually they will become Best Friends with that particular champion. When you get to this stage, your ally’s skills will have a variety of empowered affects. She can increase her friendship with each partner on an individual basis, but she will benefit greatly from staying with one.

Currently the rework is being tested on League’s PBE, and it is anticipated to go live with Patch 13.5; however, additional adjustments might be made while testing is still ongoing.
