T1 has had fans thrilled about a fresh beginning right now, since the information was recently released on the team’s official Twitter page. Specifically, the Twitter feed of the team competing in the LCK region uploaded a snapshot of two silhouettes with the hashtags “COMINGSOON” and “T1”.
Untara and Sky are coming back to T1?
Despite the fact that it was hidden, fans were able to distinguish the silhouette of “old acquaintances.” Many fans have speculated that this is most likely Untara and Sky, two former members of the team while they were still known as SKT T1.
Untara was a top laner from Summer 2017 to the end of 2018, after which he moved on to 1907 Fenerbahçe Esports and then Griffin before retiring in Summer 2020. Sky is a lesser-known player than Untara, and he, too, only lasted for a year before moving on to RED Canis and XTEN Esports.
The season can currently be regarded the most significant one for T1. In front of them are the playoff opponents, who will undoubtedly be far more challenging than the group stage, and with enough effort and luck, they will make it to Worlds.
With T1’s announcements, and the possibility of additional partnerships in the future, supporters can rest confident that even Faker with his team are not only preparing for the present, but also for the upcoming season.
It is still, however, unclear what role Untara and Sky will have. While Sky has been relatively silent since leaving the previous team, Untara, who has extensive experience and has spent time with the top League of Legends teams. Nonetheless, it is still very excited to see some old face back in the team.
