Pride month is almost approaching, and Riot, as usual, is releasing some amazing emotes to show off their appreciation
League of Legends is one of the world’s most popular video games and Riot Games makes every effort to highlight big real-world events in-game. Riot’s Pride month began in 2018 with the Rainbow Fluff icon. The events then have only become larger and better with more anticipated rewards. This year, Riot will be releasing something to commemorate Pride Month for the sixth time.
Riot’s pride celebrations began in May of last year. Leona and Diana were highlighted as a pair at the event, with their love storyline. Riot offered two distinct emotes and icons for the event, which could be unlocked by completing certain missions.
Fans were wondering if they’d get another attractive couple for this year’s Pride Month. Without a doubt, Riot has announced another pair, with Twisted Fate and Graves being the major themes for the 2022 pride celebration as the globe honors members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Three emotes have already been introduced to the PBE server. “Accepted,” “Partners in Crime,” and “Pride 2022” are the names of the emotes. The Devs are collecting feedback on the emotes while they are still on the PBE server. Depending on the League community, some features of these emotes may be altered before the complete release.
Riot introduced 3-4 missions last year, and by finishing them, you could unlock all of the emotes and symbols. So, unless Riot changes things up, this year should be the same.
The tasks have not yet been posted to the PBE server. However, you should expect some simple missions to complete all in no time.
The event should begin with patch 12.10, which will be released to live servers on May 25th.
