Teams from all across the world are starting to qualify for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, which will take place in less than a month. The top teams in the pro League will secure their spots at the World Championship from August through September.
This year, Worlds will take place once more in North America, with the LCS serving as the host league for the first time since the 2016 campaign. Additionally, spectators will be able to attend all World Championship stages for the first time since 2019 at this year’s competition. Fans have not been permitted at Worlds since a small number of spectators were let into the Grand Finals in 2020 between China’s Suning and Korea’s DAMWON Gaming.
