All of the adjustments will only be accessible in Normal Mode. Riot has verified in their patch notes that these adjustments will apply to both Blind Pick and Draft Pick. As a result, Draft Pick-only were able to benefit from these adjustments.
Poros were the first major shift. Poros was found throughout the gap. Though it didn’t appear that they were interfere with gaming in any way, their behaviour was identical to that of Howling Abyss.
Second, hats were available. When a player defeated an opponent, they would release a large number of hats. Players could step over them in order to don them. The hats were stackable and disappeared when the player died.
Riot’s final confusing update was the addition of Shen’s Spirit Blade to the scuttle crab. Though Riot has yet to explain this shift, the modification seemed to be connected to the River Shen build in some way.
These April Fools map modifications went live on the 1st of April. Furthermore, the modification only last until April 3rd, which is over by now, giving players three full days to test out the new update.
