The last League of Legends event, Star Guardian, was delayed owing to mission bugs. Riot Games concluded off another great event where players were able to perform tasks and unlock fantastic cosmetics in the process, including compensation missions to make up for the inconveniences.
When one event comes to an end, it’s usually time for another to take its place. In normal circumstances, there is a delay between events, but because the Star Guardian event was extended, fans will be able to jump immediately into another adventure – Steel Valkyries event.
Steel Valkyries event release date:
The League of Legends Steel Valkyries event is now live. It was supposed to go live with Patch 12.16, which was set to be released on August 25 at 3 p.m. CT.
Players will be welcomed with new tasks and cosmetics upon logging into the client, which they will be able to work for throughout the event. Fans who want to make the most of the event can get the Event Pass for 1,650 RP, which unlocks extra missions, 200 tokens, and four Steel Valkyries 2022 Orbs. There’s also an exclusive event bundle that includes the same goodies as the pass as well as a Janna Champion Shard, Cyber Halo Janna skin, and the Cyber Halo Janna symbol.
Throughout the event, players will win a lot of event tokens, which they can spend whatever they want until October 3. The Steel Valkyries event concludes on September 26, but players will have some time to determine how to spend their tokens.
