Fighters appear to be seeing further modifications as Mythic items for them change following MSI 2023 Fighters have been feeling a little harsh with massive amounts of damage and health for champions.
Riot has previously altered fighter items multiple times in the past, but it appears that this is insufficient, and Riot will make other changes to the items.
Riot is considering changing fighter items, but lethality items like Duskblade of Darktharr and Prowler’s Claw will also be considered by the League of Legends balancing team. However, it appears that Riot will prioritize fighter ones.
League of Legends Mythic Items Changes
Riot Axes responded to a Reddit thread on Fighter Mythic Changes following MSI 2023. He gives examples of nerfing Divine Sunderer or buffing non-Sunderer Mythics. However, no significant modifications are expected in the next months. According to Riot Axes, the adjustments will be minor.
Riot Axes did suggest that they will discuss Fighter Items shortly, as the system does not appear to differentiate much. Riot Axes mentions Fighter Mythics being constructed only for numbers in one of his remarks. So, aside from Divine Sunderer, this distinction is vital for a player base, and the present system surely lacks it.
These changes will not be introduced until after MSI 2023, thus we can anticipate them in either LoL patch 13.9 or 13.10, as LoL Patch 13.8 will be the update that the teams will be playing on.
As a result, we’ll have to wait to see Riot’s comprehensive solution to the issue and how big of a difference we’ll see in the forthcoming Preseason. Only time will tell which route Riot will go.
