All We Have Known about Seraphine: Abilities, Release Date, and More

A lot of people have realized that there’s a Twitter account that goes by the name of Seraphine – a number of tweets have been coming from this account over the last couple of weeks.

League of Legends has one of the greatest years to go as far as the champion launches. Up until now, Riot Games has released three champions, Sett, Yone and Lillia. While the latest leaks about the next 2020 champions mostly revolve around Samira, for one more champion, Seraphine, Riot has dropped discreet hints.

This post will be updated when having more information is released or leaked about this champion. Latest update : 05 September 2020.

Seraphine has shared a lot of photos about her cat, her music and her feelings and thoughts. All the tweets are typically a Twitter activity you’d anticipate to see from a human. Yet here’s the thing, Seraphine isn’t a real person. Was it amazing? So what does she be if she isn’t a real person?.

Who is Seraphine?

Seraphine is coming to Summoner’s Rift as a new champion! Riot has not publicly verified this, but it is all possible, based on our analysis. So if Riot is behind this page, which we’re confident they are, we’ve got to send it to them: that’s a pretty successful marketing strategy they’re utilizing.

Not much is clear about this 152nd League of Legends champion – although she’s active on posting on Instagram, she is still mysterious.

What are Seraphine’s abilities?

A Brazilian Streamer revealed some inside leaks earlier this month and based on those leaks, we already know that a new “sensational mage” is in the making.

All start to converge – the fact that we know new champions have appeared, the tweets from ‘Seraphine,’ accompanied by a streamer that speaks of a potential “Sensational mage”.

Update : 05 September 2020

A few snippets of code that relate to Seraphine abilities were accidentally leaked.

For every third basic ability cast will have Echo effect then casting it again.

Seraphine’s Twitter and Instagram Accounts.

You can search for yourself at Seraphine’s Twitter and Instagram accounts-the pages are identified under the “Seraphine” name, and the username is “@seradotwav“.

As of now, Seraphine has been sharing some status updates and behaving like she’s an aspiring artist staying in New York City. At the time of taking the screenshot and the post, she has 162.2k followers and that is expected to constantly increase.

By the time of writing this, there was no response, so we’re not entirely sure who is responsible for the profile, so it makes the mystery even sweeter.

Seraphine Tweets in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

She says in one of her tweets, “Hello!” in English and 你好 (“Hello” in Chinese). In addition, she has a cat named Bao, and several comments are written in Mandarin on her posts. It is believed that the 152nd champion is being marketed to Western and Chinese markets, which makes more sense as LoL has a huge number of Chinese fans.

Take a closer look at Seraphine’s social media bio.

Seraphine also took the time to complete her bios on social media. She’s an “aspiring songwriter and producer” who got big dreams. With that said, the sense of “sensational” nature about which the streamer spoke will come along with her musical abilities.

Some of Seraphine’s images also reveals something else.

Looking at Seraphine pictures, we noticed that she has connections to LoL Devs Riot Games. Tibbers (that’s Annie’s bear) is in the background of at least one of the photos she shared.

Her Music Tracks on Soundcloud.

She shared her first cover of “Childhood Dreams”, by Ary, who is licensed to Universal which for those of you who aren’t familiar with her – this is the same organization Riot recently formed a partnership with Worlds.

More About Seraphine.

Have you noticed her “selfies” when you looked at her Twitter account? Obviously, they’re not a real person’s selfies–those digital paintings are carefully rendered. Looking closer, we can feel the style is quite close to Riot’s style, with a lovely combination of cartoon characters and realistic factors.

Perhaps it might even be a “fan” account, but frankly, the pace and consistency of the pictures make it impossible to accept – It really don’t sense like there is a person behind this account, it seems like a studio. It is worth noting that Riot has an art team behind all this and planning these photos carefully so that LoL fans can learn about the new 152nd champion.

Have you ever found it hard to imagine that Riot will hype the 152nd champion through this much? Let’s remember the way when True Damage and the virtual song “Giants” were promoted. Riot made an account on Instagram and shared the band members’ related photos. This is an act that created many impacts, and since it has been successful in this promotion, there seems to be nothing wrong with Seraphine as it’s a brilliant marketing approach.

When is Seraphine released?

She is a cool character when you look through her Twitter account, and everyone has wondered, “When will we can play this new LoL champion?”. There is no set date now for the 152nd League champ, but Riot provided us a guess. The Riot Games devs acknowledge something that emerges us at a “champ roadmap update” that took place back in June. Their goals are to “release one new champion per role each year” which starts in Season 10.

Last year, we saw Lillia (jungle), Sett (top), and Yone (mid) made their debut on Summoner’s Rift. Then we will have the new marksman Samira who’s not too far from being released — that right there would fill the bot lane requirement for Riots targets in 2020.

Samira is next on the list, with Riot more than expected to release her about patch 10.20. It will allow Seraphine to step into the game around patch 10.21. That is going to place her on a collision course right alongside with Worlds, therefore, it is the best moment for her to launch one of her latest Worlds tracks to go with it.
