When will the April Fools map goes live on the League of Legends server?
Riot has done a lot to commemorate various holidays throughout the year. Riot has always wanted a portion of that festival incorporated into the game, whether it be holidays or otherwise.
For the most part, it has been cosmetics, as each event, such as Halloween and Christmas, has its own skin line.
The new Cats vs. Dogs skins are also part of the celebration, and will be available in Patch 13.7. Every April Fools, Riot does something a little more amusing in Summoner’s Rift. It used to get additional gold for hurling things at the Rift Scuttler.
And it seems that in patch 13.6 notes, Riot hinted at something new for Summoner’s Rift.
League of Legends April Fools 2023
SkinSpotlights earlier revealed that something for April Fools’ Day is on the way, and we previously discussed it. SkinSpotlights shared a picture of this PBE sneak peek on Twitter because there was a loading page that showed it. He says that it is labelled “tomato” on the package. Based on a follow-up by SkinSpotlights, the game mode and map appears to be an April Fools’ Exclusive.
According to the new patch notes, League of Legends is getting something new. Normals (Blind Pick) will get an update on March 31st, according to Riot. Something new will be introduced to Summoner’s Rift on April 1st and will remain until April 3rd.
It is unclear what exactly is being added, but it could simply be a new appearance for Summoner’s Rift, something like the Rift Scuttler providing more money, or even a new mini-game. It will be seen when Riot reveals this information on April 1st.
