It’s season 12, and League of Legends is still releasing skins for a variety of heroes. With the introduction of Mythic Essence this time, Ashen Knight Pyke is the first skin to adopt the new currency.
Ashen Knight Pyke is coming to League
“Where ancient warriors once fought to rid the world of magic but instead witnessed their kingdom fall to ash, darkness, and ruin.”
Ashen Knight Pyke has been announced as one of the new League of Legends skins that will be available shortly. As of currently, it is the only champion unveiled in the specialized skin line. And, for the time being, there is no splash art, however, players may get a sneak peek on the PBE.
The Ashen Knight skins are intended to be a replacement for the existing Hextech skins. The first Seasonal Mythic will include Ashen Knight.
With Ashen Knight Pyke, the League of Legends skin team releases yet another outstanding skin series. While many hoped for more skins, it appears that they have opted to stay with Pyke, who was already introduced earlier this year. Riot Games used to do this all the time, but it has become more unusual since new skin lines or ones that are being added to, usually come out with more champions.
When it is released, the skin will be accessible with it for 100 Mythic Essence. Riot has also announced that the Mythic Essence package, which now costs 2200 tokens for 100 Prestige Points, will be raised to 125 in order to make it more appealing to purchase.
The release date has not been announced, but it is likely to come later this month alongside League of Legends Patch 12.6, which is set to be released on March 30.
