This Bard Bug has returned into the game after 4 years

Bard main is surely happy about this…

Vandiril has returned again with another video exposing Riot developer team, this time is about Bard ulting turrets.

In the clip, Bard can freely attack the enemy Nexus turrets even when the inhibitor remains intact. After the video was posted several hours, fans were already beginning to criticize Riot, mocking them for letting this bug back in the game. Some even said that this is a new advanced Bard tech or even a new “feature” in the game.

Bard bug with Nexus turrets

This is actually a bug related to Bard using his Ult on to the Nexus turrets. Apparently, Ulting Nexus turrets as Bard right before an inhibitor respawns causes them to remain targetable after they leave stasis and the inhibitor has respawned.

This is perhaps due to a misleading understatement when the Nexus turrets come out of Bard Ult, the system mistakes them for the outer turrets that are outside the base. This causes those turrets to be targetable even when the inhibitor has respawned.

Funny enough, this bug was first dated back in 2017, apparently, it keeps happening even though it’s hard to happen in a pvp game but it had been around that time for some months already. Few days afterward Riot had announced that the bug had been fixed so that players could enjoy the game, it seems that this is not the case since the bug has finally back.

Bard has always been an annoying champion when it comes to both teaming up and facing against him. Even with this error, he is even more challenging to face. We hope that Riot will immediately fix this once and for all when it comes to Bard and turrets.
