With recent leaks revealed, Briar is a failed experiment of Black Rose, the Noxian secret organization. She has become unmanageable as a result of the experiment and is thus imprisoned in a pillory. The pillory both restrains her and helps her focus her attention. She explodes into a fury without the pillory and just follows her appetite for “Knowledge and Blood.”
In the splash art, Briar is tied in a strange pair of shackles that resemble a weapon, resting atop the body of what looks to be a soldier. However, one feature of the incoming League of Legends champion has piqued people’s interest.

Some quickly gravitated towards her feet, while others were horrified by the reaction because it is uncertain whether or not the character is a minor, given her childish appearance.
This resulted in a tweet spreading that obscured her feet, an alteration convincing enough to confuse others before it was proved to be false.
While fans of the game are eager to see what her official kit has in store for them, the unanticipated controversy surrounding her reveal has generated an outcry in the community that Riot has yet to address.
