The concepts of these skin lines have been teased via previous surveys.
A few months ago, Riot conducted a survey of the skin lines that are expected to be carried out by some specific artists. The detailed images of each skin line have been leaked so far.
In particular, a Reddit user recently posted on r/leagueoflegends featuring some leaked information on promising and upcoming concepts in a survey sent by Riot Games, which caught quite a huge attention from the community. Some potential images have turned out to be true through the leaks below, as we can see. According to one Reddit account user, SkellyBirb, these leaks have not had an official name yet, however, Riot would make adjustments to meet the majority of tastes later.
In addition, the community has found out that the mid-set TFT update has leaked information about champions that are getting the upcoming Lunar Revel skins.
Several days ago, the mid-set update of TFT was leaked, and later Teamfight Tactics’ Twitter revealed that Darius was heading to the festival as a Fortune Slayer in Set 4.5. And players have apparently come across new splash art in this mid-set update, which highly implies that the champions will get the upcoming skins of Lunar Revel.
Based on the leaks, here are the potential champions who will be getting the upcoming Lunar Revel skins in League of Legends for the coming 2021 Year of the Ox:
- Neeko
- Cho’Gath
- Nautilus
- Darius
Four champions have been confirmed will have the upcoming Lunar Revel skins in 2021 so far. However, last year, Riot launched six new skins for the Lunar Revel event, so that there could still be one or two more champions who will receive a new year’s themed skin as well.
The full splash art and release date for new skins, however, has yet to be confirmed. We still have to wait for the official announcement from Riot Games, so stay tuned!
