Riot Games Released COVID-19 Charity Fundraiser Special Skins, Chromas, Bundles, and More!

Riot Games are holding a charity fundraiser in League of Legends for the next four weeks!

In detail, Riot will be donating 100% of proceeds from Nurse Akali, Kennen M.D., and Surgeon Shen – and other related items – to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund at ImpactAssets, Riot Games’ charitable financial partner.

Last month, players from all over the world together have raised over $630,000 for COVID-19 relief during the 48-hour Mid-Season Streamathon. Riot Games has also donated an additional $4.5 million to global pandemic relief to date.

The complete list of items we’ll be donating 100% of the proceeds from include:

According to Riot, this fundraiser event will run from June 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PT to July 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PT. After this time, the chromas, emotes, and bundles will be removed from the store. The chromas may eventually return in the Gemstone shop, but they won’t be available for direct purchase after the fundraiser has ended. The skins will remain available.

All fundraiser items will be marked with a “Social Impact” Badge in the store.

The Social Impact Fund is a nonprofit philanthropic fund, which is a separate entity from Riot Games the game developer and publisher. This fund allows us to distribute money to local nonprofits in communities around the world.

Your donations will directly support pandemic relief by giving doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers the resources they need to act quickly and protect those most vulnerable. Money raised will also provide critical financial aid to families and individuals who’ve been negatively impacted by the virus.

This is just one small way we can help make a difference together. We hope you can join us in having a positive impact on all our communities.
