New Eternals and Discounts
First of all, for those curious about when and how the future Eternals will be released, we ‘re going to release the Eternals in the entire series. This means Series 2 will be added in January 2021 for all of the champions available at that time.
Like our other offerings for personalization, Eternals will have discounts similar to those for Champions and Skins, with a bigger discount for new Eternals when we launch.
- 3 months after a Series’ initial launch = 30% off that Series Pass for 2 weeks
- When a new Series releases = 60% off all old Series Passes for 2 weeks
Eternals Capsules
Eternals Capsules are Loot items that players can earn for free by just simply playing the game. Players can obtain an Eternal Capsule containing Set Shards for RP-only Eternals sets by completing missions during events, winning a new fourth tier Ranked Split Reward, or qualifying for and obtaining a Victorious skin during a season!
The first event to distribute Eternal Capsules as a free reward is the upcoming summer event. The players can earn an Eternals Capsule by completing a free mission that will activate around the end of the mission chain of the event. Beginning with Split 3 in Season 2020, each Split will award those who earn 750 Split Points to an Eternals Capsule. And eventually, players who qualify for the Victorious skin of the season (ranked Gold or higher by the end of the season), along with the Victorious skin itself, will receive a specific Set for the champion receiving skin.
New Eternals Features
We are also creating new features based on input from players who want to show off their Eternals by more ways. We plan to have these features debuted with the launch of Series 2 in January 2021, but timelines can change:
- Seasonal Best for each Eternal – Set a personal Eternals record every season!
- Exclusive Eternals Emote – Really proud of a particular Eternal on your favorite champ? Flex your stats at will!
