Mistake happens every time, even for the Demon King Faker
So far, Worlds 2022 has been a fantastic competition. The Legend, T1 has risen once more, as has the surprise of the DRX run.
T1 has been the favorite for their games throughout the competition, and they have now found their path. The team is doing admirably and is the overwhelming favorite to win the Finals alongside Faker. However, not all are blue skies for T1’s captain.
Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok made a terrible mistake while playing Bel’Veth jungle in a recent solo queue game. T1’s mid laner was killed by the blue buff at level one, which Tyler1 saw while watching his game.
Faker was mostly auto-filled to jungle because he often plays mid in solo queue. While he is definitely not an experienced jungler, he should be familiar with the fundamentals of the position. However, even a three-time World Champion and Worlds 2022 contender isn’t always flawless.
Fiora, his top laner, gave him a leash like any usual laner. However, after dropping the blue buff’s health to roughly 600, Faker positioned himself towards the Grump, most likely to save time by taking down 2 of them at the same time.
Sad to say for Faker, he went too far and lost aggro on the Blue Buff, which reset and recovered nearly all of its health. He then attempted to finish the Grump but was aggroed again by the Blue Buff, resulting in a humiliating level-one death.
Tyler1 attempted to defend him by claiming that the server was most likely slow, or laggy. Whether it was the case or not, the pro player made an awkward and humorous mistake. According to his statistics on OP.GG, T1 captain lost the game after 30 minutes with a KDA of 4/9/6
Hopefully, Faker will not make any unfortunate mistake at the Worlds 2022 Finals on November 5.
