Faker becomes the first player to score 500 LCK win, ending Gen.G’s streak

Faker has reached yet another milestone in his remarkable career

Faker has been a professional player since 2013. Throughout the road, he had had some up and down, but he triumphed against all difficulties to secure his renown.

Even so, Faker has been a consistent player in League of Legends, and his skill as a professional has also risen over time.

Faker now has 500 LCK wins, the first in the region, during the team’s match versus Gen.G in the LCK 2022 Summer Split. This enormous accomplishment is yet another big achievement in his career.

The excellence of his performance can be seen in the game versus Gen.G, where he reached the 500-win mark. T1 won the series 2-1 because to an incredible Baron steal by The Demon King himself in the second game, which helped the team to turn the series around.

After Zeus and Oner were put down, Faker performed a heroic play on Lissandra. He teleported to the Baron pit and finished off Peanut, stealing Gen.G’s Smite in the process. He then defeated the Baron and successfully secured the buff.

That play allowed T1 to reclaim the game, allowing them to easily win the following teamfight and demolish Gen.G’s base.

Faker’s win was not his only accomplishment; together with T1, he was able to deliver Gen.G its first loss of the summer, bringing the battle for the top slot to a halt. Gen.G was unbeaten prior to this game, but now both teams have six victories and one loss.

T1 appears to be returning to its true form after a few poor plays in early summer. Obviously, Faker is performing at a high level, demonstrating why he is regarded as the best player of League of Legends.
