Faker played Soraka Mid and it is insane

LS explained how Faker responded when he previously told him Soraka is broken during the first broadcast of Doublelift’s new Trash Talk podcast

Nick “LS” De Cesare is a well-known analyst who has served as coach for both the LCK tournament and the T1 organization. The C9 head coach stated that during a review session while he was a member of T1, LS told Faker that Soraka was broken. LS then stated that Faker’s “eyes lit up and he smiled, and he turned to Teddy and was like ‘I told you.’”

LS is well-known for his unconventional champion picks and setups. When LS initially started working at T1, he frequently attended tactical sessions with the first team, according to LS. At one point, when LS revealed Soraka Mid was broken, Faker seemed to notice this. 

Perhaps because Faker remembers this, the Eternal Beast recently brought Soraka to the mid lane at the Korean Challenge tier, much as LS previously did. And the effect is immediate when Faker wins, even if he is attacked by his opponent and knocked out on level 1. Essentially, the gameplay of bringing Support champions to the mid lane is not new, but with season 12 bounty system, the playstyle is becoming increasingly dominating.

C9 defeated Golden Guardians in the opening game of the Spring Split with a Sona-Ivern combination in which Fudge played Ivern mid. C9 then defeated Evil Geniuses the day before in a game that included Fudge on Soraka mid.

We can assume that the bounty system has major problems based on Cloud9’s frequent triumphs and Janna’s prior rampage in the top lane. If Riot does not make quick adjustments, support champions may become overly strong on the solo lane.
