Faker didn’t hesitate but to predict the LCK Finals score will be 3-0 in front of kkOma

Faker and T1 are standing in front of a big milestone in the history of Korean League of Legends. Can Faker get his 10th championship against his old coach kkOma?

The fact that Faker and his teammates in T1 won a ticket to the LCK Summer 2021 Finals made the decision to decide the Korean League of Legends throne more attractive than ever, when the two names Faker and coach kkOma, who once harvest the glory of Esports arena for 7 years, now have the opportunity to face each other in a Finals match.

On August 24, during the online press conference before the final of LCK Summer 2021, both DWG KIA and T1 attended and answered questions from the media. Faker, Stardust, Showmaker and kkOma are the four people attended the conference.

When asked about the biggest obstacles for T1 right now in the laning phase, Stardust said: “DWG KIA has a really strong mid-jungle duo, so that’s my pick. It’s ShowMaker and Canyon.”

For Faker, he didn’t think too much about any other lane besides his opposing one, which is Showmaker. He just wanted to have the most impressive performance, winning the championship would follow.

Looking back at the history of the LCK, T1 has won the most prestigious tournament championship in Korea 9 times. In this season, T1 has gone through a lot of ups and downs, so if they can win the final, this will be a worthy reward for the efforts of the T1 members.

Besides, Faker also predict the final result of LCK Finals 2021 will be 3-0, as he said: “Out team’s performance has been going up. I thought it’s more than possible for us to 3-0 the finals.”

Faker shared that, when LCK Summer kicked off, he personally never thought that T1 would have a chance to reach Worlds. However, at the present time, T1 has participated in the final and is sure to win a ticket to Worlds 2021.

“During the regular season, I accessed that we were not in a caliber to win LCK. But now, I access that we are capable of winning the LCK. And my confidence is much higher now than before. Now, I can play towards a clear transparent goal, which is to win LCK. This has been positive.”

The LCK Finals will begin on August 28 on the LCK’s official Youtube and Twitch channels.
