This concludes the series of major patches since 12.10 ironing out the rough edges of the Durability update.
League is a complicated game and to systematically shift the paradigm is no slouch. For a long time, there had been too much damage in LoL, making squishy champions and support hard to enjoy later in the game. It also makes for anti-climatic teamfights and skirmishes where champions just get obliterated if you so much even blink.
The shake-up hopefully will contribute to revitalizing the gameplay for pros and casuals alike. This year’s World’s Championship will showcase the vision Riot has for League and we’ll get to see for ourselves whether they were right or left 🙂
