Your performance will be possibly better after applying these useful tips!
A lot of players, especially the new ones, regularly wonder that how in-game settings influence the gameplay of streamers or pro players. Obviously, each one will have unique settings according to their habits, but there are some of them that you can give a try to improve your matches.
Nemesis – the former mid-laner of Fnatic and is currently a streamer for Gen.G Esports, gave us some tips about the basic in-game settings, which were said to be extremely effective but usually ignored.
Minimap size
For LoL players, especially the pro ones, the skill of observing the minimap throughout the match is obviously essential if you want to play this game well. Its in-game default size is 33, a moderate number for everyone as it will certainly not affect your vision. However, in some cases, you still can adjust it depending on your habit, but make sure that it is not too small and your eyes do not have to work hard.
About Nemesis, 33 is the typical size of the minimap as you are able to see it clearly even if you are having eye problems. At this size, it seems to be a part of the game screen, not an objection. Nevertheless, each player has a unique taste for his/her settings and for sure, there are no patterns.
HUD size
The HUD bar is the next element mentioned by Nemesis. For example, if you are playing as the red team, your minimap and HUD bar will prevent you from looking at your lower right and middle. This will annoy your vision and make your laning a bit difficult. All in all, a large HUD bar does not have any effects but adverse ones.
According to Nemesis, his HUD size always lies between 0 – 33 and he estimated that that was the perfect size. But, although your HUD size is 0, you can definitely see all the information on the HUD bar with no difficulties.
Mouse cursor size
In high elo, clicking accurately plays an important role in farming and fights, especially with the solo-lane players. If you are playing a ranged champion, your speed and accuracy in clicking will literally show who you are, a noob or a pro player. As a result, the size of your cursor also needs your care. Nemesis said that the default size of the cursor (50) was completely acceptable, but increasing that a bit was totally nice.
