Welp, TFT is actually not an aleatory game. The chance of your winning depends on many aspects and one of them is learning how to roll. Some players keep rolling without any purpose – which considered being dangerous and risky. Spending too many coins that way and you will end up with nothing but losing your LP.
For teams that depend too much on rollings, such as hyper-roll and slow-roll teams, you have to memorize when and how they operate. With team hyper-roll, you do not get leveled up early, all-in money in round 3-1 to get as many 3 star stars as possible. With a slow roll lineup, it is not necessary to spend all your money early, instead, accumulate 50 coins as quickly as possible and roll every round down to this milestone to earn 3-star units.
Roll in the suitable level
This skill requires you to have a certain understanding of the game and know what is the best level to search for the unit you need. First, you need to understand what your team’s main force is to choose the best time to roll to save gold and still reach the strength threshold as soon as possible.
For example, with the Protector team-comp, your main will usually be Xin Zhao, a 2-coins unit so the best time to roll is at level 6 – when the chance of appearing will be 35%. Although even at level 5, the chance is 35%, there are too few 3- cost unit appearances, but Protector team-comp need more damage from Neeko or Cassiopeia
The same goes for the case of character classes that cost 3 coins (roll to 3 stars at level 7) and 4 coins (roll to 3 stars at level 8). The case of 5 coins – unit depends on the situation of the game, if you lose too much HP and are forced to all-in to level 8, you can stop at this level to find a 5-coins with 2 stars. If not then level 9 is still the most ideal time to upgrade the 5 coins unit.
