This vote of the Korean LoL community are also greatly influenced by the results of the playoffs at tournaments around the world
On August 26.8, the result of the Korean LoL community for world’s strongest team was officially announced on Fmkorea.com.
According to the post on the Fmkorea.com, there were a few unexpected events that occurred throughout the voting process and had a significant impact on the vote results. Specifically, the teams that performed badly in the playoffs of major tournaments around the world have been strongly demoted.
Ranking of the top LoL team across the world
According to the vote, FPX, DWG KIA and T1 are currently among the top 3 LoL team in the world.
FPX
FPX is a completely worthy name for the top 1 as this team has been showing their total dominance across League.
FPX even had a series of 8 consecutive winning streak before the LPL Summer Playoffs and ended at first place at the group stage. They even destroyed LNG Esports with a score of 3-0. For these achievements that FPX had gained to themselves a worthy position from the Korean LoL community.
DWG KIA
Right behind FunPlus Phoenix is DWG KIA. At the final stage of the LCK Summer 2021, DK had convincing consecutive victories to finish in the top 1. Moreover, defeating Nongshim RedForce with a score of 3-0 at the semifinals got the team a ticket to the LCK Finals. The playoffs also helped DK get a lot of votes overall.
T1
At last at the 3rd place is T1, the team once dominated the entire LoL community in 2013, 2015 and 2016 with the record of 3 Worlds Championship title.
T1 has lost its ways throughout the years as the team didn’t even make it to Worlds in 2020. However, Faker and his teammates have disposed all doubt about T1 strength as they have finally got a ticket to Worlds 2021 and make it into LCK Finals against DWG KIA.
It’s not unexpected that if T1 defeats DK to win the LCK Summer 2021 title, they will move to the top of the following rankings.
