LCK announced their 2021 Summer Awards, Faker failed to make it to the list

League of Legends LCK have announced their 2021 Summer Awards. The awards are comprised into 5 winning sections: Regular Season MVP, All-LCK Teams, Rookie of the Year, Best Coach and Player of the Split.

Most noticeable award is perhaps the All-Team award, which has a total of 3 teams from the League who have performed an amazing performance in the lst tournament.

The All-Team is made up of players from multiple teams, with none of the three teams consisting entirely of players from the same team.

Several players were selected for these teams, despite the fact that T1 Faker was not included in any of them. Given T1’s success during the summer, this comes as a bit of a shock.

Faker didn’t make it to the All-Pro LCK Teams

Since T1’s previous World Championship, League of Legends has progressed significantly. In the LCK, the rise of new mid laners is a prominent example of this. DWG’s ShowMaker and HLE’s Chovy are some examples of players that have had a greater effect on their teams than Faker.

ShowMaker is already regarded as one of the world’s greatest mid laner right now. Chovy is also no exception as he has performed extremely well in the past day, even though HLE have lost their chance in getting into Playoffs. It is critical to recognize that these newer players have managed to acquire a more positive attitude about it.

As a result, they have surpassed Faker in terms of performance. Faker, on the other hand, is still the most accomplished player in the scene and has been there for a long time.
