The match between T1 and DWG KIA deserves to be the main match of the League community ever since the LCK 2021
The match between DWG KIA and T1 is the most noteworthy match in not just the current Spring 2022 LCK, but also the whole League tournament. On one side is the 2021 LCK champion, while on the other is the team that has won five straight games and has led the LCK Spring 2022 standings up to the match. Every team wants to win to improve its standing and set the stage for future matches.
The opening match between the two teams has now become the longest-running match of LCK Spring 2022. DK and T1 are gradually becoming more balanced, and each time one side succeeds, the other quickly reacts. The difference in this game, though, is the jungler. Canyon’s Jarvan IV gives T1 nightmares. Canyon may be credited with talent, creativity, innovation, efficiency after putting DWG KIA up after nearly 60 minutes of play.
But in game 2, it was Faker and his teammates’ turn to prove why they could be at the top of the tournament. T1 dominated DK from the start, thanks to incredibly strong picks like Lee Sin and Vex. Keria’s Thresh skill also made it difficult for DK to play. T1 moved the match back to the beginning line after Faker’s Vex maintained a 100% win rate.
When it came to the decisive game, both teams played really well. Canyon and his teammates even “self-destructed” in a rush when they were trying to end the game and were wiped out as a result. After then, T1 gradually reclaimed the position, and DK’s efforts finally went up in flames. T1 won the match, and Faker was named the MVP of the game.
T1 maintained their undefeated streak while retaining the top spot in the Spring 2022 LCK standings. Faker and his teammates will be best prepared to face another champion candidate, Gen.G Esports, in the first week after the Lunar New Year.
