A 1vs9 game in League? Been there before
What is actually a 1vs9 game? In League of Legends, whenever players are playing in normal game mode or queueing up for ranks, they tend to find themselves in a 5vs5 game on Summoner’s Rift or Howling Abyss.
Players used to refer to the term ‘1vs9’ when their teams are actual dogsh*t and can’t do anything but feed to the enemy team kills and objectives…
However, this was not the recent case for some specific weird games in League of Legends where there was a literal 1vs9 game.
Vandiril, a YouTuber and a League of Legends content creator, has uncovered an intriguing bug that allows players to play 1vs9, 3vs7, or even 10vs0 instead of the standard 5vs5. This has piqued the interest of the League of Legends community around the globe.
This bug appears in both the match loading screen and the game itself. Although this issue is not present in rank mode, only in normal and ARAM mode, it nevertheless affects drastically to the match results and the players’ experience.
Many players have been “mistakenly put” by Riot on the opposite side, resulting in numerous “bad and humorous” situations. Not only that, but players that are forced to the enemy team all picked the same champion in some “miraculous” way.
Riot has yet to respond to the aforementioned issue. Although we know that the preseason will have numerous bugs due to updates and changes, if there is a large error that affects the experience of players for an extended period of time, Riot’s reputation could fall.
