Few champions in League of Legends, which has over 160, are as well-known as Lux. She can be performed in a variety of ways, making her quite versatile and a simple champion to play, especially for beginners.
She has the most skins of any champions because of this. She still lacks a Coven skin, though. This specific skin line has a color pattern of crimson, violet, and black, and its lore is entwined with that of other skin lines, such as the Old Gods and te Eclipses.
And if you’re curious as to what it might resemble, Reddit user MinagamiWasTaken shared fan art of her interpretation of a Coven Lux skin on Twitter and Reddit, complete with Lux’s skills and a changed state.
The fanart seems to be inspired by the lust and the dangerous crimson red of Coven Evelynn. Her light staff now turns into a bloody aura that flows around her, the Lady of Luminosity has now become the Child of the Royal Blood.
The old gods are beings that live somewhere in a specific parallel world. A group of witches only known as the Coven worshipped them and subjected them to their total control over the entire universe.
According to some reports, the Coven skin line was created to compete with the Eclipse skin line and was inspired by the above tale. The old gods were actually slain by the eclipse warrior after Kayle provided them with the necessary tools.
Although it’s not official, it will be fascinating to see if Riot can connect a Lux Coven skin into the narrative because the fan art is absolutely stunning.
