A number of modifications have been made to League of Legends in Season 13, including a new ping system, new items, redesigned champions, and constant balancing adjustments. Party chat, which was introduced in Patch 13.4, is included in that list of modifications.
New Party chat feature in Lague of Legends Patch 13.4
The new feature was recently introduced in patch 13.4. Players can communicate with the preset members of their parties in-game using the new party chat feature in League. You can switch between the conversation channels in the chat console using instructions or the tab key.
The chat console displays the chat channels that will receive your messages on the left side of the chat bar. Party chat will be the default dialogue option for new players, though you can alter which channel is active in your preferences.
Players can access their chat options by clicking the Tab icon after joining a group. After that, their chat should transition to party chat. To transmit a message to the party, players can also start their communication by typing /party, /pt, or /p.
A [Party] tag will be present at the start of communications that are part of a party conversation. Despite the fact that you can now communicate directly with your premades, many League players are unconvinced and believe the feature is lacking.
According to players on Reddit, they claimed that switching between channels has been a terrible experience and that since the upgrade many private messages have been sent to the incorrect channels.
Many other people are also bothered by the absence of color because they find it difficult to distinguish between channels while playing.
These players assert that if the colors were more vibrant and the channels had a common color-coding scheme, they would appreciate using the new 2023 League chat function more.
For those who want to communicate only with their premade League parties, the new party chat function is fantastic. To make the game more user-friendly and less irritating for players, a few problems might need to be fixed, though.
