Gwen’s era might be brought to an end in League Patch 11.15.
The League of Legends gameplay design team has teased some of the modifications that will be included in League Patch 11.15. Most significantly, a whole bunch of champions is set to be nerfed.
In League Patch 11.15, a large number of champions will be nerfed. The power of nine champions on the roster will be lowered in the forthcoming patch.
The nerfs set to hit live servers in League Patch 11.15 will mostly target solo lane champions, with Annie, Viego, Irelia, Sylas, and others all receiving nerfs. Gwen, who has dominated the professional environment of the game since her introduction in April, will be the most notable champion to undergo nerfs in the next patch. According to League analytics site Games of Legends, Gwen has a pick/ban percentage of 82.4 across all competitive regions since the start of the Summer Split.
According to Riot, Aurelion Sol, who has an average win percentage of 57.4 percent in Challenger over the previous two patches, will also be heavily nerfed. Thresh, who has recently found success in both solo queue and professional competition, is the only non-lane champion scheduled to be nerfed in Patch 11.15.
Viego and Irelia are currently dominating solo lanes in League of Legends, with Irelia’s win rate and pick rate sky-rocketed in Patch 11.14, an upcoming nerf is what can be foreseen easily.
Several champions are expected to be boosted in Patch 11.15 as well, although their major positions differ significantly more than the ones set to be nerfed.
According to the game’s official patch schedule, League Patch 11.15 will be available on live servers on Wednesday, July 21.
